I Kings 8:41-43,

41. And also to the stranger, who (is) not of Your people Israel, but will come from a far country for the sake of Your Name. 42. For they shall hear of Your great Name, and of Your mighty hand, and of Your outstretched arm, and he will come and pray toward this house. 43. You shall hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls You for, that all peoples of the earth may know Your Name, to fear You, as (do) Your people Israel, and that they may know that Your Name is called upon this house that I have built.

I Kings 8:60,

so that all the peoples of the earth shall know that HASHEM is God – there is no other.

Isaiah 11:9,

They will neither injure nor destroy in all of My sacred mountain; for the earth will be as filled with knowledge of HASHEM as water covering the seabed.

Isaiah 17:7-8, [A prophecy concerning Damascus]

7. On that day, man will turn to his Maker and his eyes will look to the Holy One of Israel. 8. He will not turn to the altars of his own handiwork; and to what his fingers made he will not look, nor [to] the Asherah-trees or the sun-images.

Isaiah 18:7,

At that time an offering will be brought to HASHEM, Master of Legions – [namely,] the people that is dragged and plucked, and some of the people that inspired awe from the day it came into being and onward, the nation that is oppressed and trampled, whose land was ravished by rivers; to the place [wherein rests] the Name of HASHEM, Master of Legions – Mount Zion.

offering: Having been punished by G-d, the peoples of the world will bring Him an offering; the offering will be the Jewish people (see 66:20) which is described here in the same terms as those used in verse 2 where the nation was described at the time of its degradation [Artscroll Tanakh].

Isaiah 19:18, [Egypt’s worship of the true God, and its deliverance]

On that day, there will be five cities in Egypt that speak the language of Canaan and that swear by [the Name of] HASHEM, Master of Legions; one of them will be called ‘the City of the Sun.’

the language of Canaan, I.e., Hebrew. Egyptian eyewitnesses to the miracle in Jerusalem will set up, in Egypt, communities of people who are faithful to God (Artscroll Tanakh).

the City of the Sun, One of those five communities was called City of the Sun (Kara); it was later destroyed (Targum; Rashi; see Jeremiah 43:13) [Artscroll Tanakh].

KnowYourBible, «On that day five cities in the land of Egypt will speak the language of Canaan .» (v 18). To explain this verse, Rashi cites Seder Olam (ch 23), which states that after the fall of Sennacherib, King Hezekiah arose and released all the captives from Egypt and Kush that the Assyrian king had brought with him in chains to Jerusalem. They then took upon themselves the kingship of Heaven [i.e. the Seven Universal Laws of the Children of Noah] and returned to their own lands, building an altar to HaShem in Egypt in fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy in verse 19. RaDaK (on v 18) explains that because Mitzrayim and Canaan were brothers (Gen. 10:6) and the land of Canaan fell to Israel , the Egyptians viewed the Israelites as aliens. But after witnessing the miracles done for them they would speak their language as if it was the language of their own brother – the «language of Canaan » – because they would then see the Israelites as brothers. [The Talmudic sages saw in the prophecy of an altar to HaShem in Egypt an allusion to the altar of Beit Honyo built there by Honyo, the son of Shimon HaTzaddik, Menachos 109b).

Isaiah 19:19-22, [Egypt’s worship of the true God, and its deliverance]

19. On that day there will be an altar [dedicated] to HASHEM in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar [dedicated] to HASHEM near its border; 20. and it will be a sign and a witness to HASHEM, Master of Legions, in the land of Egypt, that when they cry out to HASHEM because of oppressors, He will send them a saviour and a leader and deliver them. 21. And HASHEM will become known to Egypt, for the Egyptians will know HASHEM on that day; and they will worship with scarce and map-offering, and they will make a vow to HASHEM and fulfil it. 22. HASHEM will strike Egypt, striking and healing; they will repent to HASHEM, He will be appeased to them and heal them.

KnowYourBible, Vv 20-22 prophesy the great sanctification of the Name of HaShem that would come about through the recognition by the Egyptians of His dominion and saving power. When the Egyptians would repent and pray to God, He would heal them.

Isaiah 19:23-25, [Egypt’s worship of the true God, and its deliverance]

23. On that day there will be a road from Egypt to Assyria; Assyrian will come into Egypt and Egyptian into Assyria, and Egypt will serve [HASHEM] with Assyria.     24. On that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the land, 25. for HASHEM, Master of Legions, will bless them, saying, ‘Blessed is My people, Egypt; and the work of My hands, Assyria; and My heritage, Israel.’

19:23-25, Egypt and Assyria will make peace when they realise that God controls their fate. Israel will be their third partner in the worship of God (Radak)      Malbim cites three views of when this prophecy will take place: It will be in the future; it happened at the time of Simeon the Righteous during the early years of the Second Temple; it happened in Hezekiah’s time, after the miracle at Jerusalem [Artscroll Tanakh].

KnowYourBible, «On that day there shall be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. and Egypt shall serve with Assyria » (v 23). The Egyptians would know God’s power from having heard what had happened to Sennacherib’s armies, while the Assyrians would know it through their firsthand experience of the blow dealt to them by God’s angel (Metzudas David).

«On that day Israel shall be the third with Egypt and Assyria , a blessing in the midst of the land.» (v 24). Rashi (ad loc.) explains: «At that time there was no other people in the world more important than Egypt and Assyria, while Israel were lowly in the days of Ahaz (king of Judah) and Hosea ben Elah (the last king of Israel), and the prophet says that through the miracle that would be performed for Hezekiah the name of Israel would be magnified and they would be as prestigious as any one of these kingdoms on account of the blessing and greatness they would enjoy.»

«Whom HaShem of Hosts shall bless saying, Blessed be My people [from] Egypt and the work of My hands [from] Ashur, and Israel My inheritance» (v 25). The insertions in this translation of the present verse reflect the commentary of Rashi (ad loc.) who explains that the verse means that God chose Israel for His people when they were in Egypt, and that they would become «the work of His hands» as a result of the mighty deeds He would perform against Assyria, because through the miracles they would witness they would repent and it would be as if God had made them anew just now so as to become His inheritance.

Isaiah 40:5,

the glory of Hashem shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.

Isaiah 42:10,

10. Sing to HASHEM a new song, His praise from the end of the earth, those who go down to the sea and those that fill it, the islands and their inhabitants. 11. The wilderness and its cities will lift [their voices], the open cities where Kedar dwells; those who dwell on bedrock will sing out, they will shout from mountain peaks. 12. They will render glory to HASHEM, and relate His praise in the islands. 13. HASHEM will go forth like a mighty warrior, He will arouse vengeance like a man of war; He will shout triumphantly, even roar; He will overpower his enemies.

Isaiah 49:26,

And I will feed your tormentors their own flesh, and they will become drunk on their own blood as on sweet wine; then all flesh will know that I am HASHEM, your Saviour and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

Jeremiah 3:17,

At that time people will call Jerusalem ‘The throne of HASHEM,’ and all the nations will be gathered to her in the Name of HASHEM – to Jerusalem; they will no longer follow the visions of their evil heart.

Jeremiah 16:19,

O Lord, Who are my power and my strength and my refuge in the day of trouble, to You nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, «Only lies have our fathers handed down to us, emptiness in which there is nothing of any avail.»

Jeremiah 31:9,

Hear the word of the Lord, O nations

KnowYourBible, V 9: The entire world will recognize that the restoration of Israel is the work of God alone.

Jeremiah 31:33,

And no longer shall one teach his neighbor or [shall] one [teach] his brother, saying, «Know the Lord,» for they shall all know Me from their smallest to their greatest, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will no longer remember.»

Ezekiel 37:28,

Then the nations will know that I am HASHEM Who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary will be among them forever.

Joel 3:1,

And it will happen after this, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh

Artscroll Trei Asarafter this – The following shall occur in the end of days [in the times of the Messiah] (Rashi, Radak; et al.). I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh – all of mankind will achieve [a] clear recognition of the Almighty (Abarbanel).

Azamra.org, I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh Metzudas David interprets «flesh» as referring to the nations of the world, «for even the heathens will then recognize and know that HaShem is God»

Joel 4:17,

Thus you will know that I am HASHEM your God, Who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain; Jerusalem will be holy, and aliens will no longer pass through her.

Amos 9:11-12,

11. On that day I will raise up the fallen booth of David; I will repair their breaches and raise up its ruins, and I will build it up as in days of old, 12. so that they upon whom My Name is called may inherit the remnant of Edom and all the nations – the word of HASHEM, Who shall do this.

Artscroll Trei Asarso that they upon whom My Name is called may inherit the remnant of Edom and all the nations – (Abarbanel; Malbim): Even the conquered nations shall then be called in My Name, for they, too, shall recognize the truth of My existence and accept upon themselves to serve Me faithfully.

Obadiah 1:21,

21. And saviors will ascend Mount Zion to judge the Mountain of Esau, and the kingdom will be HASHEM’s.

Stone Tanakh, saviors – Messiah and his colleagues (see Micah 5:4) will exact retribution from the Edomites for their cruelty, and then God will be recognized as the Sovereign of the entire universe (Radak).

Zephaniah 3:9,

For then I will change the nations [to speak] a pure language, so that they all will proclaim the Name of HASHEM, to worship Him with a united resolve.

Radak, a pure language – They will no longer speak of idols.

Zechariah 2:15,

Many nations will join themselves to HASHEM on that day, and they will become a people unto Me; and I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that HASHEM, Master of Legions, has sent me to you.

Zechariah 9:7,

And I will take away the blood from his mouth and his detestable things from between his teeth, and he, too, shall remain for our God.

Zechariah 14:9,

HASHEM will be the King over all the world; on that day HASHEM will be One and His Name will be One.

Stone Tanakh, There will be no more idolatry in the world.

Tehillim Artscroll, HASHEM will be the King over all the world – All the surviving nations that attacked Jerusalem will acknowledge that God is the King over the entire world once they have seen the great miracles that He has performed for His nation (Radak; Abarbanel). His kingship will no longer be recognized only by Israel but by all the nations (Abarbanel). On that day HASHEM will be One – All the nations will abandon their false deities and acknowledge that HASHEM is the only God and does not share His mantle with any other power (Rashi). And His Name will be One – God’s Name will be One because no one will mention the names of other gods; only the Name of HASHEM will be mentioned (Radak). Alternatively the respected Name of HASHEM, the Tetragrammaton [Y-H-V-H], will then be pronounced as it is written (Ibn Ezra); All the Names of God other than the Four-letter Ineffable Name [the Tetragrammaton] are descriptions of the different ways mortal man perceives God: through His actions. The frequent use of these Names led to the belief of a plurality on God. In future times, only one Name of God will be used, the Tetragrammaton, God’s actual Name, not derived from His actions (Rambam, Morah Nevuchim 1:61).

Zechariah 14:16, (the festival of Succos)

It shall be that all who are left over from all the nations who had invaded Jerusalem will come up every year to worship the King, HASHEM, Master of Legions, and to celebrate the festival of Succos.

Tehillim ArtscrollIt shall be that all who are left over from all the nations who had invaded Jerusalem – The people who repented, when they saw the catastrophe that was befalling their camp, will mark the anniversary of the miracles they had witnessed during the war by going up to Jerusalem and offering sacrifices (Metzudos) on the Succos festival, for it is during the season of Succos that the war of Gog and Magog will have taken place (Radak); R’ Hirsch (Numbers 29:13) notes that «all the efforts of the nations using their powers to fight against connections with God and His laws end with their acknowledging God as King (v.9) and coming to Jerusalem to celebrate the festival of Succos each year.» What connection is there between Gog and Magog and Succos? R’ Hirsch relates the name Gog (גוג) to the word (גַג) [gag], roof, which is in contrast to the succah, the weak, unstable covering of foliage. This contrast actually sums up the entire history of mankind, who think that just as they have the ability to build דפנות, strong walls to protect them from their earthly contemporaries, so too do they imagine that they have the power to protect themselves from that which comes from above: God and His power to direct matters. They imagine that they can build a «roof» and take their fate in their own hands and render themselves independent of God. The war of Gog and Magog is the battle of גַג [gag] against סוכה [succah]: the fight of the «roof» illusion of human greatness which never allows man to rest against the «succah» truth of cheerful confidence and serenity which is the result of placing one’s trust in God’s protection.

Psalms 22:28,

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn back to HASHEM; all the families of nations will bow before You.

Tehillim Artscroll, And [they will] turn back to HASHEM. This will arouse them to repent and return to God (Rashi; Radak).

Psalms 67,

Psalms 86:9,

All the nations that You have made will come and bow down before You, O Lord, and will give glory to Your Name.

Tehillim ArtscrollAll the nations that You have made will come and bow down before You, O Lord – [Since our God is truly incomparable and no other force is anything like Him, why don’t all the nations recognize this manifest truth? In fact, God has deliberately shaped events in a way which allows men to delude themselves by attributing power to helpless objects.] Only in the Messianic era will God’s omnipotence be evident to all and there will be no room for error (Radak; Meiri).

Tehillim Artscrolland will give glory to Your Name – The nations that surround Israel will see that God will release His People from their stranglehold in a miraculous manner. Amazed and overwhelmed, they will spread the word of the marvels to all other nations, who will then hasten to pay homage to Hashem (Ibn Ezra).
